Edit: SteveTony Games Angst Fill -- The Royal We

Even though I thought the plot point around it was pretty weak, I love the visual and the art in the panel from Tony Stark: Iron Man #12 where Tony is wearing his newly invented behavior-modifying crown.

I did some editing on the panel -- removing speech bubbles and extending the background where the top of Tony's head had overlapped into another panel -- to use it in the last part of my King of Pain trilogy of edits. And as I worked on that, I realized I wanted to do another, separate edit using just this panel to create a royalty/mind-control AU. So then I lettered and edited some speech bubbles --- well, thought bubbles, anyway -- right back in...

I know I screamed when I saw this on the discord but allow me tO SCREAM AGAIN, HOLY SHIT WHAT A GOOD EDIT! IT LOOKS SO REAL, I BELIEVE IT!
Also, wow what a clever way to insert the bonus prompts! I love it so much!

This lettering took FREAKING FOR-EVER. Thanks to those yellow-gradient boxes that represent Tony's thoughts... but I didn't WANT to cop out and do them on plain white bubbles...

I really just love this panel, visually. Such a great image. Also it was quite an interesting challenge to draw in and color a big chunk of Tony's right hand, after removing some dialogue that covered a lot of his thumb. One of those funny things about edits. The better the edit, the less anyone realizes the work that went into the edit. :P

Getting creative with the bonus prompts was a thing that just kept shifting and shifting through the games. From wow these are new and fun, to ok, gotta get a little more creative, from finding ways to work them in to feel natural, to who cares just shove 'em in there, no lube needed, I REMEMBER IT WASN'T WORTH IT BUT STARK MEN AND ROOMMATES AND SOULMATES ARE MADE OF IRON AND WE GIVE THEIR WINGED VAMPIRIC ROYAL FAMILIES HOMES AND BLINDFOLDS AND WARM THEIR COCKS ANYWAY for POINTS POINTS POINTS POINTS! (I think that's at least five, right? :P )
