Podfic/audio version of my celebrity gossip news segment, "Threats and Menaces Rumor Reveal: Superhero Lies!"

(Originally inspired by FestiveFerret and melaniehoping's multimedia "Trashiverse" multimedia tabloid edit set.)

For my tabloid news voice, I had in mind Heidi Hamilton, who is half of the Heidi and Frank show on LA rock radio station 95.5 KLOS, and who also voices some of the ad spots. I find her speaking cadence and inflections to be distinct and effective with a nice dry humor, and I did my best to channel my interpretation of how she might have delivered this piece.

This is a liveread of Ferret, Sap, and HT's Ults fic/art collab. My liveread audience in the Games Discord was Kiyaar. I recorded this via two audio systems simultaneously: the craigbot/ennuicastr recording to the Discord server, and my studio mic recording to my own computer. I used the better quality audio from the recording through my own mic, and synced up the ennuicastr track of Kiyaar's reactions. The only editing to my reading is syncing and balancing levels between the mic and audience tracks, and cutting off some additional chatter/conversation we had before and after the actual reading of the fic. The only other edit is that I cut out a few points in the audience track where Kiyaar was telling me my voice was cutting out in the Discord channel. Those are irrelevant to the mic audio, which is intact without those dropouts, would serve no purpose and only be distracting, and leaving them out makes no alteration to the reading.
